Reason behind Samantha opting out of Mani Ratnam Kadal

Actress Samantha has walked out of the film Kadal taking shape in the direction of Mani Ratnam as the actress has fallen sick and her call-sheets had gone mess. Samantha feels that it is her loss for opting out of Ace director Mani Ratnam’s movie.

Giving the reason behind opting out of Kadal, Mani Ratnam informed, “Been pretty sick fr a while now can’t wait to get better. Unfortunately coz of this I hv had to opt out of mani sirs film.my loss… Bt had to do it..coz my being sick left my dates in a huge mess. Also my other films are 60pc complete while I hv nt yet shot for mani sirs film..so I guess this had to happen.”

Currently, Samantha has films like Eega in the pipeline for release, multistarrer film Seethamma Vaakitlo Siriamalle Chettu and Gautham Menon’s directorial Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu, Ram Charan’s Yevadu in her kitty.
