Story

Surya (Nikhil) a talented pickpocketer along with his three friends make robbery as their daily life. The story turns when a small Lord Ganesh idol been lifted from Padmanabhaswamy temple, travels a long distance and finally falls in to Journalist Swathi (Swathi)'s handbag.

Swathi was in search of her stolen Vespa comes in touch with Surya where love blossoms between them and in meantime big gangsters who are fallen back of most valuable Ganesh idol turn in to a gang with Nigerian batch goon Durga Prasad (Ravi Babu) and traps Swathi and Surya. Rest of the story is whether Swathi and Surya are out of the trap and what happens to the Ganesh idol forms rest of the story.

Performances

Nikhil well suited as a talented thief with new style of makeover. His performance was energetic with his way of dialogue delivery. He is stylish and improved a lot.

Swathi is charming and performed naturally. She is bubbly in her dialogue pronunciation.

Ravi Babu, Jeeva,Pooja Ramachandran carried their roles very much neatly and commendable. Jogi brothers in introduction is good.

Technical Analysis

Richard Prasad's cinematography is colorfull. His slow-motion of taking in few scenes is awesome which elevates the sequence of story. Sunny MR's music is highlight for the film and background is a big plus for such thriller entertainer.Sudheer Varma gets thumbs up for his screenplay and dialogues too. Editing by SR Sekhar could make his scissors to work more. Production values are rich.

Analysis

Swamy Ra Ra starts off with a comic touch of narration and continues with steady gripping of story with interesting screenplay and cool comedy elements. First half gets in to every ones mind as it is has fresh concept of storyline with colorful scenes.

Second half carries the thrilling movements like the first half but at most of the times the pace of the film slows down which is a lag back for the film. Sunny musical scores are soothing and picturisation of songs make us to give a watch. Climax could have packed with much interesting aspects.

Debutant Sudheer Varma makes his mark of direction with Swamy Ra Ra.
