Story

Sukumar (Aadi) an NRI, having dreams of having his own project for which he needed huge amount. He works for a company where he was known as a selfish minded and gives importance to money. He flies to India after knowing he was the legal heir of 150 crores in his native village.

Vandanamma (Sharada) is grandmother of Sukumar. Further he makes plans to sell of his property of 150 crores to kick start his dream project. Sukumar loves Sankari (Nisha Aggarwal) in the village in the meantime. Rest of the story is What is Sukumar's plans to own the property whether his wins his love or not ?...

Performances

Aadi improved his acting scenes but need to put up much on his expressions in emotional scenes. His dancing skills are good and he is also effective at comedy.

Nisha Agarwal is good as village belle but couldn't get the chemistry with Aadi. She is beautiful in songs.

Krishna and Saradha's performances are applaudable and they does their neat job in the film. Other star casts are just ok.

Technical Analyis

Anup Rubens background score is ok and songs are pleasant. Editing could be better. Cinematography is good with colorful scenic of village. Ashok Kumar failed in narrating the story and direction too. Dialogues are average.

Analysis

First half of Sukumarudu starts off with the pale screenplay of hero introduction which is routine. From then characters flow on which makes audience fall on their seats to wait for a song. Even the comedians performances tests the patience due to the bad writing. Only interval made some interesting twist with a hope on second half.

Senior Actors Krishna and Saradha does their roles but others are wasted with poor characterisations. It doesn't take much time after the interval to know that the film has illogical sequences and testing the audience with a lengthy reel. Placement of songs are not good and act as speed breakers. Romantic track between the lead pairs couldn't be real and comedy pales off.
