Story

Sudheer (Sudheer Babu) a depressed young lad on his way along with other youngsters Nandu (Nandita), Praveen (Praveen) and Giri (Giri) joined them to end their lives by committing suicide. They settle in a guesthouse situated in outskirts of the city. In term of their plan to commit suicide they get in touch with weird incidents of a black spirit in the house.

In between these incidents Sudheer and Nandu love each other which are being disturbed by evil spirit. What happens to the youngsters who are intended to commit suicide? What was the violent past of guest house forms rest of the story...

Performances

Sudheer Babu has shown improvement in his acting skills in this film. His expressions are good at few movements. His dancing skills are great showcased in a sequence.

Nandhita is apt for the role of Nandu and proved her acting in her excellent performance. She is the major plus for the film.

Praveen is a natural actor got full length role for the first time. Giri is best in his role and others are adequate.

Technical Analysis

JB background score is effective with good sound effects in such horror based films. Cinematography has its mark and it should be appreciated. J Prabhakar Reddy proved his screenplay and storytelling in his first film. Maruthi mark execution is visible in few sequences. Editing is neat. Productions Values are good for this low budget film.  

Analysis

Prema Katha Chitram first half starts off with cool narration of the story line of three youngsters and their lifes. This half is a neat entertainer with speedy narration and takes everyone to an interesting note at a point. Entertainment in the film is good by Giri and others too. Interval scenes having Nanditha playing an excellent performance stays the audience for the later half.

Second Half runs steadily with the same pace and comedy elements. Here comes the main plot of the story of thrilling horror with evil spirits in the suicide camp. The film reaches the climax with all interesting scenes and ends up with an entertainment mind.

Everyones note is that it is a Maruthi mark of film. But after watching Prema Katha Chitram we can come to a conclusion that Director Maruthi is brushing his image of a adult films.

It is a horror-comedy entertainer.
