Story

Arjun (Kalyan Ram) is the son of businessman Harishchandra Prasad (Karthik)  and Sitara. Arjun loves his dad a lot and lives as a best friends. Harishchandra Prasad has many enemies among them the strongest of politician Byrreddy (Rao Ramesh) tries to kill him but been saved by Arjun many times.

On his way, Arjun falls for Anjali (Kriti Kharbandha) and  Rhea (Nikisha Patel) also make the same interest on Arjun . She is the daughter of Ashok (Ahuthi Prasad) who is the close pal of Harishchandra Prasad. Arjun wants to marry Anjali but his father wishes him to tie knot to Rhea. Here Arjun comes to known few truths about his birth . What were the truths will Arjun finds his true enemies is the rest of the story.

Performances

Kalyan Ram performed the role Arjun in a decent manner. He is good at fight sequences. He does his best performance.

Krithi Kharbhanda is cute as Anjali and she impressed with her looks. She has a good screen chemistry with Kalyan Ram.

Nikesha Patel filled the glamorous quotient and to sizzled in bikini . Karthik is impressive , Rao Ramesh looks effective,  Ahuthi Prasad, Suresh are good at their roles. Others are adequate.

Technical Analysis

Music is ok and Background score is effective in few scenes. Ajayan Vincent cinematography is impressive with colors on-screen. 3D techinicalities are up to the mark but VFX didn't match up to the presentations and very poor. Sunil Reddy done with his direction but is far back in screenplay.  Production values are rich.

Analysis

Om starts off with a blast scene and takes the audience in to the story which was usually scene in Kalyan ram's films. Every scene is predictable and looks routine revenge drama. Second half too goes on a toss with loads of violence episodes and the boring screenplay tests patience of the audience. Few twists are good and other are just on screen.

The first point to be considered is that for a weak story and pale screenplay like OM needed the 3D ? I think it is waste of the budget. The technicalities are top notch but they couldn't match up to the screenplay anyway. Second one is that too many action sequences plays the spoil game finally leaves audience with no entertainment.

ZC Take :-

Om is a routine revenge drama
