Story
Priya (Priya Bannerjee) leads a compromised life in San Francisco, due to
restrictions imposed by her parents. Her father force her to marry a egoist Ravi (Bharat Reddy). In the drastic situations Priya runs
off from the home to commit suicide.
Here she comes in touch with Sunny (Adivi Sesh) a failure
thief, who rescues Priya from the suicide. On saying about life and its beauty,
Priya falls for Sunny who are on their way of chill out trip in San Francisco.
Priya's parents are in search of her and rest of the story is how the film
ends.
Performances
Adivi Sesh is as usual stylish with his uber cool costumes
and does a decent performance with his different way of dialogue delivery.
Priya Banerjee is sensuous and may grab few offers in
Tollywood if she can focus on her performance.
Shafi is good, Bharat Reddy is not up to the mark and others
are adequate.
Technical analysis
Sricharan Pakala, Pete Wonder music is just ok while
background score could be much effective if focused. Shenil Deo's cinematography
is rich with colorful showcase of San Fransisco. The background locations are
really amazing. For the second time too, it’s a thumbs down to Adivi Sesh for
direction. Production values are good.
Analysis
Kiss first half takes with a promissory start with Priya's
narration which makes easy to the audience to think of the next scene.
Entertainment in the film is on zero level. Screenplay is good but the logic
has gone for a toss. Interval is just for the name sake nothing new or
entertaining.
Coming to Second half it is highly predictable with testing
patience of the audience with the performance side. The romantic scenes aren't
good and the chemistry between the lead actors are to not up to expectations.
Finally the scenes are dragged and ends on a pale climax.
My Take :-
Don’t dare to grab this KISS
ZC Take :-
Kiss - Nothing but Stupid...
