Story

ACP Vijay Khanna (Ram Charan) is an aggressive police officer had seen more than 20 transfers in 5 years and now transferred to Mumbai from Hyderabad. With his attitude he takes up charge of investigation of the murder of deputy collector which led him to find the kingpin of oil mafia Rudra Pratap Teja (Prakash Raj). Maya (Priyanka Chopra) is the eyewitness for the murder case takes shelter in Vijay Khanna's house by helping him. How Vijay Khanna faces Rudra Pratap Teja and throws him to jail to put an end forms the crux?..

Performances

Ram Charan looks good as a cop and performed the role with aggressiveness. He looks strong and perfect in his acting skills. This could be said a right debut in Bollywood.

Priyanka Chopra has limited role but she looks charming and hot in couple of songs. Piggy Chops sizzled in Pinky song and shared good rapport with Ram Charan.

Prakash Raj is excellent as mafia don and Sri hari is just okay. Tanikella Bharani is good and Mahie Gill charms in few scenes.

Technical Analysis

Music scores and BGM for the film are major drawback while Gururaj's cinematography is Ok. Editing could be much better and so dialogues. Apoorva Lakhia gets thumbs down for his direction. Production Values are standard. 

Analysis

Thoofan has completely remade with modern essence with racy screenplay but lacks commendable story line. Every plot of the film lacks directorial touch as the story itself written in a bad way. Only Ram Charan and Prakash Raj episodes came out well. The emotional drama between Sri hari  and Ram Charan didn't work out well. Even the romantic scenes on the lead pair lack essence. Finally Climax makes it end with poorly script. One could easy say their is zero comedy elements and high dosage of action with attracts mass film lovers.

My Take :- 

Thoofan lacks everything that entertains.

It's just a hindi  TV serial dubbing version in Telugu
