Vijay (Bhai - Nagarjuna) works with international mafia don David (Asish Vidyardhi) who sends Bhai on a mission to put an end to a cop in Hyderabad as he doesn't believes his son James (Sonu Sood). On his mission Radhika (Richa Gangopadhyay) falls for Bhai at first sight. What relation turns between Bhai and Cop is rest of the story.
Performances
Nagarjuna shows his mass charisma after a brief break and proved his mettle yet another time. His dialogue diction is well suited for his commendable performance.
Richa Gangophadyay is glamorous in songs and not much to say on her performance.
Big disappointment is Brahmanandam who is just wasted in insignificant role and poor scripting. Prasanna is good and Zara Shah is good. Others performed to their best.
Technical Analysis
Veerabhadram Chowdary failed to handle big star like Nagarjuna with jerky narration. Devi Sri Prasad does his work at best but the songs picturisation is bad. Background score couldn't sink with the scenes. Editing is pathetic. Production values are rich.
Analysis
First half of Bhai starts in foreign land which shows the underworld mafia and Bhai’s significance and heroism. But there is no stylishness or background establishment of mafia characterisations which suddenly falls on the laps with out any progress. Interval seems to be interesting with good twists. Second half works to some extent with sentiments scenes between a family. Comedy scenes looks to be forced intentionally but they are not natural. Loads of punch dialogues on the other stars film, which may hurt their sentiments are another negative aspect. Even action episodes are not good. Nagarjuna's Bhai characterization is only the saving point for the otherwise amateur execution film. Nothing Massy... A Wasted chance of Veerabhadram
