Suriya's highly anticipated period action-fantasy drama Kanguva was initially set for a grand release on October 10, aiming to be a festive treat for Dasara. However, the film's release has been temporarily postponed due to a clash with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, which is also scheduled to hit theaters on the same day.
The latest buzz in Tinsel Town suggests that the makers of Kanguva are now eyeing a November 14 release, which falls on a national holiday. Interestingly, after news of the postponement surfaced, rumors began circulating that the film might release on October 31 to capitalize on the Diwali weekend. Fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from the team regarding the final release date.
The film features Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in lead roles, with prominent Kollywood producer Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green backing the project. The music for Kanguva has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
